Flag Day 2011 is Tuesday, June 14. Did you know that Flag Day was initial produced in 1916 by Woodrow Wilson? It commemorates the the first American flag, which was introduced in 1777. Flag Day just isn't an official federal holiday (so we still have to go to work and school - boo!), but Congress did officially establish the day in 1949. I bear in mind marching around my school in a flag parade as a kid…at least we got to leave the classroom! Flag Day may well not be the most celebrated holiday of the summer, but you can a minimum of play our amazing flag action game.
